Terms of Use

The rules for accessing Outirl websites, applications, hosted services, and official distributions.

Effective 2026-10-11 · Updated 2026-10-11

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms govern the Outirl website, hosted control plane, web application, desktop distributions, and related services, published by Jonathan Amsellem, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel, EI). An independently operated deployment may have different terms.

Watchirl presents and records the accepted Terms version and declaration time during registration. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter the agreement.

2. The service

Outirl is a local-first workspace for persistent terminal sessions, projects, coding agents, and approved remote access. The selected Host owns project files, terminal processes, Git, and native integrations. Some features require a control plane, internet access, or third-party tools you configure.

3. Accounts and security

Provide accurate information, protect credentials and paired devices, and promptly revoke access you no longer recognise. You are responsible for activity through your account and approved grants.

4. Sales terms

The seller is Jonathan Amsellem, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel, EI), 124 boulevard de Rochechouart, 75018 Paris, France (SIREN 524 342 102; EU VAT number FR16524342102).

Web payments use Stripe; where in-app purchases are offered, Apple or Google process them through RevenueCat. The final amount, currency, applicable taxes and renewal terms are shown before payment. Annual subscriptions cost ten monthly payments of the purchase channel and provide twelve monthly allocations.

Paid credits accumulate without expiry in one balance shared across Nocha, Outirl, and Tripirl; subscription benefits are specific to Outirl. Cancellation stops future renewals and preserves the paid period. Refunds reverse credits proportionally; spent refunded credits create a deficit to cover before further paid use. Restore mobile purchases with the original Watchirl account and manage subscriptions in the original purchase channel. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

5. Delivery and right of withdrawal

Credits are digital content supplied without a tangible medium. They are added to the balance of the buying Watchirl account as soon as the payment provider confirms the payment; a pending payment adds no credits.

You have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal from the purchase, unless you expressly request immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose this right (Article L221-28, 13°, of the French Consumer Code). In the Outirl web and desktop apps, buying a credit pack requires ticking, before payment, a box by which you accept these sales terms, request immediate delivery of the credits and waive your right of withdrawal. The accepted version of these terms is recorded with the purchase.

Merely viewing these terms is not a waiver. The waiver does not remove the legal guarantee of conformity applicable to digital content.

6. Your projects and output

You retain rights you hold in your source material and remain responsible for having permission to use it. You are responsible for reviewing commands, changes, and AI-assisted output before relying on them. Outputs can be inaccurate, insecure, or subject to third-party rights.

7. Third-party services

tmux, Git, coding agents, and other tools you configure have their own terms, availability, fees, and privacy practices. AI features run through Watchirl, which selects the AI provider that serves each request. Compatibility references do not imply endorsement.

8. Availability and liability

The service is provided without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, or loss caused by commands or outputs you approve. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Ending use and changes

You may stop using Outirl and remove local software at any time. Access may be limited for security, unlawful use, or material breach. Material changes to these Terms require appropriate notice and, where required, renewed acceptance.
